Accessibility

The Victoria Police Licensing eServices Portal aims to cater to the widest audience. To achieve this, we've followed the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) Website Standards - Standards Pack 1 - Standard: Accessibility.

Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Web, and that they can contribute to the Web. Web accessibility also benefits others, including older people with changing abilities due to aging.

The Victoria Police Licensing eServices Portal has aimed to meet level AA compliance to the W3C Guidelines.

PDF Documents

Portable Document Format (PDF) is the open de-facto standard for electronic document distribution worldwide. Adobe PDF is a universal file format. It preserves all of the fonts, formatting, colours, and graphics of any document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. Adobe PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as intended by anyone with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader Software.
